Certification pathways
Our credentials validate competence, ethics, and real-world performance. Assessment methods may include: document and experience verification; structured professional interviews/viva; portfolio and work-product review; supervisor/referee attestations; and practical demonstrations or simulations (where applicable). No sit-down examinations are required unless explicitly stated for a specific program.
Outcomes: pass, conditional pass with development actions, or not yet ready — with clear feedback and CPD guidance.
Accreditation for organizations
1. Application & scope — define units, sites, and programs in scope.
2. Document review — policies, SOPs, governance, safeguarding, data protection, and quality evidence.
3. Evaluation — remote and/or onsite interviews, sampling, and evidence checks.
4. Findings & improvement — report with strengths and corrective actions.
5. Decision — independent panel decision; certificate and statement of scope.
6. Surveillance — periodic reviews to confirm continued conformity.
Recognition & alignment
Our frameworks are aligned to widely recognized standards and good practice, including principles from ISO/IEC 17024 (personnel certification), quality management systems, safeguarding, research ethics and compliance, and privacy/data protection obligations. We continuously benchmark our criteria so that professionals and organizations can demonstrate competence with reference to international expectations.
Digital credentials & verification
Every successful candidate or accredited organization receives a digital credential with a unique ID and QR code. Credentials can be verified online at any time and may be issued as portable digital badges for use on social networks and e-portfolios.
Complaints & appeals
We maintain a clear, documented pathway for complaints and appeals. Cases are handled impartially and, where necessary, escalated to an independent panel. To submit, please contact info@certivoninternational.org.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) & renewal
Most certifications include annual or biannual CPD expectations. Holders document learning activities (courses, supervised practice, research, mentoring) and submit evidence during renewal. Non-compliance may lead to suspension until requirements are met.
